Suede is the reverse side of the leather, buffed to achieve a soft, supple finish. It comes from farms in Rio Grande do Sul and is tanned in Brazil without the use of hazardous or banned chemicals. VEJA uses compliant dyes and minimizes water usage during the tanning process. The suede is then coated with PFC-free water-repellent oils to protect the shoes from light rain. Volley sneakers.
